something i want to remember
The vision is birthed, then there is a death (which is INCREDIBLY difficult and not sure what is dying – self maybe) and then, only then, can the glory fall and the vision become a living and breathing reality. Deep calls to deep...Psalm 42
Just flipped to Psalm 42 and read the first verse: " As the deer pants for the water..." Do you remember that song from Living Waters? I still randomly sing it at least once a week, although I only remember the first two lines!
The death of self IS difficult and painful! But we love the beauty that comes from it. My prayer for you is that you will experience the same joy that Christ did when He endured the cross. "But for the joy set before Him..."
